چکیده
Developing low-temperature nickel-based catalysts with good resistance to coking and sintering for dry reforming of methane (DRM) is great significance. In this work, Ni (5 wt%) CeO2 were supported on SBA-15 porous material by glycine-assisted impregnation method obtain Ni-CeO2/SBA-15-G catalyst. XRD TEM results showed that the addition glycine can effectively promote dispersion NiO in pores SBA-15. H2-TPR XPS confirmed formation stronger metal-support interaction. addition, after glycine, NixCe1−xOy solid solution content was increased significantly, meanwhile, Ce3+ concentration from 31% 49%, accompanied more oxygen vacancies generation active species. For above reasons, had better catalytic performance DRM test (20 h, 600 °C) high GHSV (600,000 mL/gcat/h), its CH4 conversion reaction 20 h 2 times Ni-CeO2/SBA-15-C catalyst prepared a conventional method. TGA-DTA also proved almost completely eliminated carbon deposition. The advantages may have originated complexation metal cations prevent them gathering.

Methane oxy-steam reforming over a highly efficient Ni/Al2O3 nanocatalyst prepared by microwave-assisted impregnation method
An alumina-supported nickel catalyst was prepared by impregnation of Ni2+ solution onto mesoporous alumina under microwave irradiation (denoted as M-Ni/Al2O3). For comparison, a catalyst with the same nickel content was prepared by conventional impregnation method (denoted as UM-Ni/Al2O3). Both M-Ni/Al2O3 and UM-Ni/Al2O3 catalysts were applied to the syngas (H2 + CO) production by methane oxy-s...

Article history: Received 11 October 2015 Received in revised form 2 December 2015 Accepted 15 December 2015 Available online 17 December 2015 The dry reforming of methane (DRM) utilizes carbon dioxide (CO2) as the oxidizing agent in order to produce synthesis gas. Catalyst deactivation via coking, oxidation, and sintering has stymied the industrialization of catalysts for the DRM. Here, we uti...

In this study, nickel catalysts supported on mesoporous nanocrystalline gamma alumina promoted by various strontium contents were prepared by the impregnation method and employed in dry reforming of methane (DRM). The prepared catalysts were characterized using N2 adsorption (BET), temperature-programmed reduction and oxidation (TPR,) and oxidation (TPDTPO), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scannin...
متن کاملAn Investigation into the Effect of Hydrotalcite Calcination Temperature on the Catalytic Performance of Mesoporous Ni-MgO-Al2O3 Catalyst in the Combined Steam and Dry Reforming of Methane
Several mesoporous nickel-based catalysts with MgO-Al2O3 as the catalyst support were prepared using a co-precipitation method at a constant pH. The supports were prepared from the decomposition of an Mg-Al hydrotalcite-like structure which had already been prepared with Mg/Al=1. Prior to impregnating 10 wt.% nickel on the supports, the precursor was decomposed at several ...

We performed in-situ transmission electron microscopy (TEM) on a dealloyed nanoporous NiCo catalyst used for the dry reforming of methane (DRM) to investigate the origin of the catalytic activity and structural durability. The in-situ observations and local chemical analysis indicated that the DRM induced chemical demixing of Ni and Co accompanied by grain refinement, implying possible “synergi...
